While i cant exactly say i enjoyed this semester. I am happy that it is my last semester. All i need left is an internship and I couldn’t be happier. I only say i didn’t enjoy the semester due to taking 5 classes and having to keep up with all of them at home. Due to Covid 19. Started the semester in class and had to stay home for about half the semester and while some people enjoy this aspect of the pandemic, I for one do not enjoy doing all my school work from home due to the fact that you dont get all of the information you would normally get from sitting in class and doing things hands on instead of only reading from a website or book or watching videos.

This will be a short but informative blog post about reading as a hobby. Now some people may not find reading to be a very fulfilling hobby but i do. You can get lost for hours and forget about all your stress while you get lost into a fantasy word of your choosing. Personally i enjoy reading fantasy adventure novels, especially the Wheel of time series by Robert Jordan. But there are many many other different books and series out there that you as a reader could enjoy. All you have to do it sit down with your favorite drink and read and hopefully if you enjoy and get lost into your own world away from the stresses of life.

well for many years now i have been an avid collector of warhammer models and multiple other verity’s of models. From ships to plans and even cars, but by far my favorites have to be the warhammer models. Painting is oh so very relaxing and it lets your artisic creativity out. Now i for one am not a good painter by any means but i still do it to relax after a long day. Sitting around mixing colors trying to figure out what color you want to paint a certain part is fun to me and hopefully you as well, if you decide you want to take up painting models. It doesnt even have to be models honestly, you could paint pictures of anything you want, or what ever may come to your mind. That is what is so relaxing about it you can just let your creativity flow and watch and you make your very own masterpiece.

As this is our groups first blog post I am going to explain what our group has decided we wanted to have our blog about. As you may have guessed we have chosen to do a blog about our personal hobbies. Myself I have quite a few hobbies i enjoy. One of them is building and painting Warhammer 40k models as well as building computers and fixing them for friends and family. Hobbies are a great way to relax and expand ones knowledge is different fields that you may have an interest in. Hobbies are also an excellent way of making new connections. Weather it be finding out a co-worker as a similar interest in a hobby you enjoy or going to meet-ups to meet new people who enjoy similar interests as you. Sometimes those connections can turn into meaningful relationships with some benefits you may not expect.

Like most other days, I save time to do something I enjoy. Today, I am writing this blog at Germania in Alton, IL. It is this little coffee shop that has such a cozy feel and a good atmosphere. The workers are always nice and music is always playing. It is one of my favorite places to go to study. Not to mention I LOVE coffee so it is 10/10 recommended by me!
